Goodness, part 2, and a Prayer Request

In addition to the links I already listed, here are a few more organizations that I feel represent some goodness in our world.

Children of the Nations This organization will come to our church on May 8th and help us pack 10,000 meals for hungry people.

Nations Foundation on Facebook Nations Foundation is a Christian Snowboard organization. Joel Parker, who founded Nations Foundation, recently spoke at our church.

Also, I have a prayer request for my mom-in-law Mary.
Yesterday, she was in an accident at Whistler, and has three broken ribs, and a broken collarbone. She is 77 years old, and a great skier, but she happened to be standing in the wrong place at the wrong time when a snowboarder lost control on a black diamond run and flew out of control into the green run she was on at the time.
Please pray for her recovery, for comfort, and for peace for both her, and for the snowboarder who was in tears after the accident.

Will pray as you requested. What a wonderful testimony - a great skier at age 77! I am sure her fitness will help speed her recovery.
